Other Fluorinations

The Fluorine Lab is also used by the two young groups of Dr. Sebastian Riedel and Dr. Carsten Knapp. In this group the laboratory is mainly used to synthesize inorganic fluorides like AsF₅ or KrF₂. For this gaseous or condensed fluorine is used in Monel cylinders or special build apertures of PFA or glass.
