Fluorination of Ethylene Carbonate
The direct fluorination of ethylen carbonate was chosen as the main model system for, because of its low tendencies to form side product and the small amount of possible isomers during fluorination. Additionally its applications in battery technologies and its production volumes which are within the range of a possible micro reactor plant made this substrate an interesting target for investigations.
